The Story
How everything led to this
My earliest memory of bridal wear isn‘t from a workshop or a runway - it‘s from a movie. The parent trap. I fell in love with Elizabeth James and her whole world within the blink of an eye.
In my own world, beauty was already a constant: my grandmother, a skilled seamstress, dressing herself, my grandfather, my father, and me with the same care she gave to her craft. Clothing was not just fabric in our home; it was language, expression, identity.
Bridal wear kept finding me.
During my fashion design studies, it appeared again and again - in conversations, in projects, in friendships, in my final graduation collection. My time at Kaviar Gauche sealed it: bridal was not just a passing interest. It was where my heart settled.
And yet, I waited.
For the next ten years, I worked for minimalistic, timeless and mindful womenswear brands, learning the industry inside out - fabrics, sourcing, production, construction. I wanted to understand everything before daring to create something with my own name on it.
Now, Gaffrey bridal is my chapter one.
It’s not about transforming a woman into a princess or fitting her into a stereotype. It’s about allowing her to be herself - confident, assured, and wrapped in the finest fabrics. Romantic, without naivety. Modern, without losing warmth. Timeless, without chasing trends. For me, craftsmanship is the gateway to emotion. A gown that fits perfectly, that moves with you, allows you to be fully present in your moment - no distraction, only feeling.
Gaffrey bridal stands for a quiet revolution: bridal wear designed for the women of today, crafted with respect for the earth, and destined to be as beautiful decades from now as it is in this very moment.
This is my story so far.
The rest will unfold - one bride, one gown, one forever moment at a time.
